- Empowering the vulnerable, transforming humanity
MCF grooms and empower women to take up leadership positions for the global transformational agenda. It emphasizes practical learning experiences and utilizes the expertise of high-profile women leaders for talent development. In a highly collaborative manner, potential women leaders are equipped with knowledge through personal coaching and mentoring to position themselves and take up leadership roles in society.
Every element of our initiative is focused on strengthening and broadening the leadership talents of women with the aim of delivering positive results to empower them.
The Youth constitute a higher percentage of the population yet there are myriads of challenges that some youth of today face such as unemployment, negative social vices, peer pressure, etc.
It is of this view that MCF organizes activities such as capacity training programs whereby passionate professionals gives edge-cutting training services tailored to address skills gaps, unemployment issue, sporting activities to harness their talents, vocational programs, etc. ensuring that their contributions to nation-building are enhanced.
Technical and vocational education is a major agent for industrial development as well as for the socio-economic growth of any country. It is against this background that the Maralitha Care Foundation (MCF) sought to equip the youth, especially teenage mothers with technical and vocational skills through hands-on training, to empower them, and make them self-reliance in support of the global action towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) specifically, SDG 8 “Decent work and economic growth”.
Child Protection refers to protection from violence, exploitation, abuse, and neglect. Violations of the child’s right to protection are massive, under-recognized, and underreported. These are barriers to child survival and development. Conversely, successful protection increases a child’s chances of growing up physically and mentally healthy, confident, and self-respecting, and less likely to abuse or exploit others, including his or her own children.
MCF seeks to address these issues through its Empowerment and Social Accountability program which is purposed to monitor and measure the impact of social protection implementations at the local levels.
Maralitha Care Foundation (M.C.F.) empowers students through the Inclusive Education (IE) advocacy initiatives to ensure that no child is left behind, in compliance with the ongoing global drive to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4); “Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all”
Our Peace & Security program places special focus on collaborative approaches to conflict prevention, and peacebuilding, working with diverse actors from civil society, governments, intergovernmental bodies, women’s groups, and other relevant partners in a bid to establish a platform for dialogue, experience sharing, and learning, thereby complementing efforts at ensuring sustainable peace and security in Ghana, Africa, and the world.
We seek to empower women, youth, and children through education and vocational skills, the promotion of Peace & security, and community development.
